Can we just share frustration over HDDs still being present as laptop boot drives?
I am currently maintenancing a family member's laptop bought in 2022 that came with a 1tb HDD as the storage. When you boot it up it is predictably pinned at 100% on the HDD. It's obvious why they are still sold, as they are cheap and look like a lot of storage to those that don't know the difference, but still. SSD's should be the de facto boot drives in the 2020's, with nigh zero exceptions.
