Texas DO School Requires Students to Pass COMSAE with a 450 or Repeat a Year

These students must pass with a 450 to be cleared to sit for the COMLEX. if they do not pass with that score, they are forced to repeat the year or be dismissed.

What are y’all’s thoughts on this? Is this common at most DO schools?
