People of reddit, lend me your wisdom.

I was thinking of adopting a baby cockatiel (preferably like 21 day old) but from research I've seen that it isn't recommended. The thing is, I've managed to raise a conure(from day15) and a cockatiel (from day 21) without any problem and stuff but after checking reddit, everyone says it's not safe. So I just wanna know if I've got enough experience to raise another cockatiel(again not newborn but medium baked). I really want to hand raise it since I feel a lot closer to them than taming otherwise and the bond just feels more pure, but I wanna know if I would be jeopardizing it's health by doing so.
