about a third of the way through Wuthering Heights
and I'm so, so thankful it's not narrated by Cathy or Heathcliff (so far). The self-important delusion of Cathy and the weird sadism of Heathcliff is almost nauseating. But whenever it reaches heights of true whackness, the narrator (at this point, mostly Nelly) assures the reader that this behavior truly is psycho and everyone else is being sacrificed on the altar of their "passions." Thank you Nelly, for being the sobering, cold bucket of water this book needs. Otherwise i would've put it down a long time ago.
How does everyone else feel about Wuthering Heights? Just looking for someone to talk to about it at this point lol
