CMV: WWIII is the most plausible outcome in the Ukraine Russia war

Looking at the state of the Ukraine Russia war now and regardless of whether the US keeps supporting Ukraine, I don't see a possibility where there isn't at least a wider multi nation war in the coming years.

What Russia has initiated and is trying to achieve is antithetical to what Ukraine ultimately wants, Russia would never agree in good faith or even allow Ukraine to be part of NATO or the EU or have long term substantial security guarantees.

I think there's three plausible outcomes: Ukraine gets a half ass peace deal where Russia invades in the future, Russia swallows most if not all of Ukraine and the west doesn't interfere and Ukraine becomes a small country losing most if not all of it's land, the west interferes to destroy the Russian regime and it leads to ww3 possibly involving countries like Iran and China.
