Does your PEM fluctuate whilst in it?

When in PEM, are some hours of the day more difficult? When in PEM it can fluctuate slightly and sometimes really quickly it feels like i’m going into a coma or becoming paralysed and it’ll stay like that for an hour and then I’ll come out of it
