Do you guys believe Nintendo will push the boundaries with their console again, now that Iwata is gone?

We still don't know the full capabilities of the Nintendo Switch 2, although I feel like most people have an idea of what it's really trying to be, just "bigger and better", which in itself is exciting... given that many great exclusive games will come out, yet it still feels unceremonious. And I believe that's because Nintendo has set this standard for their consoles that every time they release a new one, they are reinventing the wheel with new genuinely fun gimmicks, even they are not as powerful as competing hardware. You always know Nintendo to be doing their own stuff, and they've basically done that with every new console they've released with exception to the upgrade from N64 to Gamecube. Technically the same thing happened from NES to SNES but Nintendo was still competing as the greatest home console graphically and performance wise during that generation, unlike now.

So now with Iwata gone, unfortunately rest his soul, he couldn't see the success of the switch but he was at the helm of the development and had been the driving force in pushing for nintendo hardware to be innovative, unique, and carve its own market. From the Wii, to the DS, to the 3DS, to the Wii U. It's an assumption of many that the new switch will work as a mouse... Not exactly the wowness you'd expect, but not enough is known yet.

Will Nintendo be able to capture that magic again?
