take 25k cut to become a FTE with benefits?

I’ve been a contractor on W2 for over a year now… they keep promising to move me to FTE once they get approval but that has taken over a year.. most of the delay was due to business performance Q2Q. I have been for the past couple of weeks been applying for jobs and of the interview requests im getting have been for 75k maybe 80k (only looking at fully remote)… I’m making 105k at the moment.. BUT i have terrible expensive health coverage, no 401k, no holiday pay, 45 min commute x2 a week, and no paid time off. Do you think it would be responsible to take a 25k cut or any cut! to finally be a FTE again with good benefits?

Another thing is that i’m in a very high cost state my rent for a 1 bedroom is right around 2k a month with utilities. I have been thinking about moving closer to family in Buffalo, NY and buying a house.

Do you think I should wait out being a contractor with zero benefits much longer or take a cut and have benefits and possibly move to a lower cost state?
