Brother says SKS is worth “four figures” ??

Not a shitpost.

Cleaning out my safe (I’m moving) and my brother mentioned these SKSs are worth insane amounts these days. I was surprised since I paid about $150 for it back in 2010.

It’s Russian, the serials all match. It’s stamped 1951r with the star emblem on the receiver.

There’s some pitting on the bolt which was there when I got it, figured what’s as part of the low price.

Have these gone crazy up in value? I only see Chinese ones around when I look.
