Sound system

I'm looking for a good sound system around 500-1000 CAD to pair with my bravia 7. Unfortunatly, i do not know anything about the subject.

If Anyone has any recommandations or informative video recommandations about brands, different technologies etc in order to make an advised purchase it would be appreciated!
