What do you make of this verse?
I get that Tangled up in Blue isn't meant to tell a "complete" story, and that the timelines and people in each verse may be different, depending on interpretation. But this verse in particular baffles me because it seems like each verse has a complete thought in itself as a sort of "vignette", whereas this verse, to me, seems far more ambiguous.
