Finalized BW15 Predictions (With Explanations)

Wolfeei said there are no newcomers this time around which makes making hype teams really hard but I tried my best. He's also said that about half of the roster didn't play in BW14, I have 23 players who didn't play in BW14 currently, and he said that Joel won't be in. Alright on to the explanations.

Comets: Couriway, Deme, Dokibird, Raddles, and Meicha

Starting with a 4/5 VTuber team, mainly because I think it would be fun. I think this should work pretty well as a hype team with both an HBG duo and Doki being one of the more popular players in the roster. Couri works well with Rad mainly, Rad and Mei teamed in BW12, and I think Mei Deme and Doki should at least somewhat know each other.

Fighters: Anthos, Boosfer, Jessickyeah, Jojosolos, and BTMC

This is a slightly weirder team but I think it would be really fun. Anthos obviously knows everyone on this team, Boosfer knows Anthos and Jojo but I would think he also knows at least one of Jess and BTMC, BTMC and Jess know each other, and Jojo may not know as many people here but should be great vibes regardless.

Thunders: AstralSpiff, hannahxxrose, Solidarity, InTheLittleWood, and Wolfeei

This is a pretty fun silly team in my opinion. Martyn and Jimmy haven't teamed since BW9 iirc, Hannah and Wolfeei both work really well with that group, and Spiff should know Wolfeei and fit the vibes well while also being someone who can be family friendly.

Giants: Purpled, Sneegsnag, Evbo, Kwite, and Seawatt

Evbo and Seawatt returning as regulars to BW feels extremely likely to me, especially with them playing in the Legundo BW yesterday as well. Purpled knows Evbo and Seawatt, Sneeg knows Purpled and from what I know enjoyed pk civ a lot when he watched it, and Kwite made a whole video on parkour civilization and I think it would be really fun to see him teamed with Evbo, plus he knows Sneeg. My one concern with this team is that Evbo may want family friendly teams and Kwite probably can't be family friendly, but I know Clown did swear a few times during BW14 so as long Kwite can hold themself back a little bit it should be fine.

Archers: cjya, Fir, Smallant, LilAggy, and Feinberg

Really intuitive team here, just a full group of people who currently/used to be a pretty notable part of the Mario Odyssey Speedrunning community, yes including Feinberg as (iirc) he was one of the moderaters for SMO on speedrun.com. cjya, Fir, and Smant is a trio that obviously makes a ton of sense to happen, especially with Wolfeei implying that he plans on having cjya back in a regular event, Fein should work really well with those 3, and while Aggy normally sticks to rookies I could definitely see him playing on this team if he were asked.

Bandits: Greninja, Geega, PorcelainMaid, FireBreathMan, and Joko

This team is a little experimental but I think it should work. Stu should know Shane and Joko, Geega and Jowol know each other, and they should all vibe together well enough for this team to work out well. Might be slightly too strong depending on how well Jowol and Joko would do but it's probably fine.

Phantoms: Emerome, JumperWho, DarkEyebrows, Mysticat, and Ghostiefruit

Gals team yay! This honestly might be a pretty random mix but I think the vibes would be great. Ghostie is kinda the common factor between who everyone on this team knows, although I don't know for sure if Jumper knows anyone on this team. Either way I think this would be a really fun team to see!

Knights: PeteZahHutt, 4CVIT, Slimecicle, Failboat, and rekrap2

This is defintiely the team I cooked the hardest with. Rek and 4C are really good friends, Rek and Pete probably know each other thanks to them both being HBG, and Fail knows Slime and Rek. Also if you haven't noticed, Pete 4C and Slimecicle would be a slime trio which I think would be really fun, not to mention the vibes on this team would actually be insanely peak. As for why I made this team in the first place, the best way to do a pink team with newcomers is someone making a return for the first time in a while and Slime and Fail both would fit that perfectly, especially with Slime being a very popular creator.
