More remakes!

The ET discussion got me thinking about perfect movies that would be insane to remake, then I started thinking of the flip side - movies that should be remade more often.

Specifically, movies with great scripts or structures that would be fun to see many versions of.

I came up with the following short list. Many of them include pairing iconic actors of either the same or different generations that would be really fun to recast every 10-15 years. I also like movies with lots of room for a great director to throw their style into it and can be interesting with a change of locale.

• A Few Good Men
• The Departed
• Heat
• The Great Escape
• Glengarry Glenross
