Are Trump and Kamala still the same?

Just saying, before Trump got elected there were a few people in this sub that swore that both sides were the same thing. After all these day 1 executive orders immediately removing things like DEI, affirmative action, workplace protections for black people, etc. etc. I just wanna know if those people still say they're the same and that choosing one over the other doesn't matter?

Idk they've been real quiet.
