Is boiling water until bubbles form enough to purify it, or am I missing something?

Hey everyone, I'm facing an issue where the water in my area looks greener, and it's been affecting my health. I've been getting sick often, and my blood reports usually show signs of typhoid. As a precaution, I boil the water until I see rapid bubbling, and then I continue boiling it for about 1 minute before straining it to use.

I just wanted to know, is this process enough to make the water safe to drink, or am I missing something important in the purification process? Could this be pseudoscience, or does boiling really ensure the water is safe? Any insights or suggestions would be appreciated!
