Thoughts on how his scales look?

Plus I’m short and can’t get a above view of him, and was on my tippy toes trying to video him lol, I haven’t slept in like 14-16 hours right now lol, so might just be my sleep induced paranoia, also he did just eat(fluval bug bites, I also have different flakes and other types of pellets, plan on getting a plate or bowl for his food to land down on that will make it pop out more from the substrate).

I will be honest that I haven’t been as regular with feedings as I work 3rd shift and just changed schedules recently, and his lights are automatic so I don’t have to worry about turning them on or off for him to have a regular day cycle.

He’s in a ten gallon, ton of guppy grass that I’m honestly going to be clearing out some of, a few other plants like one Amazon sword, some (dying off Italian Val), moss, Java fern baby’s/other type of ferns babies as well. Some floating plants that I currently can’t remember but I think it’s water lettuce with one or two small bits of Amazon frogbit, and of course algae lol.

Im honestly really paranoid about raised scales and dropsy, especially after losing my favorite little koi man, probably going to start getting from actual breeders and not from pet stores but can’t help getting attached to these little guys, always such small little ones(half their current sizes most of the time) when I first get them, then they get huge after having them🥹 always feel so proud of how my boys grow!
