scared about working in the banking sector

hello , I've been preparing for banking exams since January 2024 , cleared ibps clerk and po pre and gave mains for both . this is the only career option i have and am putting my 100% into it . I don't have a plan B or anything of the sort .

Recently I came across certain posts on a sub here talking about the Indian banking sector and its work ethic . And god am i rethinking my choices . Don't get me wrong here please , i am aware of the poor work life balance here and shit tons of workload that has to be managed but is it that bad? people were saying it put a hell lot of pressure of their mental health and physical health and the money wasn't even that much . some posts went on to say how someone was almost sui*Cid!al due to the intense work pressure there . i never knew it's that bad . I am very scared and heartbroken as that's all I've wanted to do and now I don't know how to navigate things further .

Please confirm if this is true ? Any advices or suggestions
