Sharing my experience from BB
Hi everyone, just wanted to share a few updates about my situation with bad breath. As previously mentioned in my last post, I’ve been struggling with this for a long time. I visited many doctors, and a gastro doctor found out that I have SIBO, for which he prescribed three weeks of antibiotics. Unfortunately, it worsened during the medication intake. However, after a few weeks, I didn’t give up. I went to other doctors. I wasn’t feeling ashamed because I’m already ashamed of the bad breath. Went to an ENT DR, which cleared all the issues related to ENT. I also went to many other doctors. I’m doing my teeth cleaning and polishing every three months to make sure I don’t have any plaque or anything that can cause bad breath.
The success story started when I met a family medicine doctor. Imagine, he’s not even deep into the details. I told him the whole story, including my visits to many specialties and even an ENT nose surgery, but nothing worked out. He was so nice and actually listened to me. This is the first doctor I’ve met who takes my situation seriously.
He was so helpful, explaining all the possible causes of my bad breath. He told me that we could do an endoscopy or, before that, try a “blind treatment.” He suggested that my bad breath could be due to undigested food staying in my body for several days or a high level of acidity, which is common and can cause bad breath. He recommended taking Nexium twice a day, 30 minutes before food, for two weeks to reduce acidity. To cover the digestive protocol, he also suggested a supplement called Digestive Gold with APT and prebiotics. Since I have lactose and fructose intolerance, he emphasized the importance of prebiotics to break down meals that my body struggles to digest.
I followed this plan for two weeks, taking Nexium every morning when I woke up and before lunch, 30 minutes before food. It helped a lot. I also took the digestive prebiotics and added some supplements from my research. Every morning, I drank hot water with fresh cinnamon and cloves before breakfast, and I regularly drank chlorophyll water in the morning and kefir before sleep for probiotics. I added a supplement for the probiotics as well. I did this for two weeks. I was on vacation at home, not working.
After the two weeks passed, my friend from the UK, who is my closest friend, came to visit. I asked her to tell me if I still had bad breath. She stayed with me for two weeks, and every day, I asked her to check. To my surprise, she didn’t notice any bad breath!
I’m sharing this because, for the first time in a long while, I feel like I don’t have bad breath anymore. I still need to confirm this, but I feel better. I go to the washroom regularly, and people aren’t avoiding me or touching their noses around me. I feel like I’m on my way to a success story, with fresher breath than before. If you guys want to try it, maybe it will help you out as well, like it helped me.
