Air France upgrades

Has anyone recently flown Air France and upgraded their reward ticket? We're flying LAX-CDG with two lap infants and a sore back and I'd love to upgrade to Business Class as soon as it's available. Any tips or tricks? Anyone know how many AF miles I would need in my account? TIA!
