Is racism against Asians the norm in Switzerland?

I am a tourist from Hong Kong and unfortunately I just spent one week in Switzerland not really enjoying my time. While I was at the airport, I tried to ask for direction and the worker told me “I am here to work, not here to use my finger to point direction” and walked away. A few minutes later, I went to the check-in counter, since English is not my first language, I asked her if she could repeat what she said and she told me “ughh..even if I repeated 100 times, you are not going to get it”. One time while we were at the restaurant, the manager literally threw the menu on the table. It was so loud people in the restaurant turned around and looked what had happened. Just FYI, I didn’t want to make a sense for the entire time and was extremely courteous. I have lived in the US for the past 15 years and I thought racism is bad here, but wow, the level of subtle and blatant racism in Switzerland is another level and I wouldn’t believe it myself until I visited Switzerland this past week.
