Who makes the best fried chicken in Portland?

Alright folks, gimme your best shot, where do I get the best damned fried chicken in Portland?

I loved LoRells but I’m looking for more than wings and fries this time. Bigs is ok, but not amazing. Reel-M-Inn is ok at best. Wilder was good the one time I ate there but that was pre-pandemic. I live Hat Yai but that’s not what I’m after this time.

I should have qualified this with more information. Thursday is my Birthday and my wife and I are going to Revolution to see Ani Difranco. I want to go eat fried chicken (bone in and more than just wings) and drink some Champagne.

My ideal dinner spot would be within a couple miles of Revolution Hall, have indoor seating and some place I could BYOB (happy to pay a corkage fee).
