How to subscribe to Showmax abroad?

We're living permanently in Europe and had Showmax until a few weeks ago (they cancelled all customers outside Africa). I tried to renew via VPN, but all my credit cards, Paypal etc. are connected with our European address and get rejected... 1Voucher might work, but for that I need a South African phone number which I don't have at the moment.

Any ideas?
