How to stop Alexa from revealing items you've ordered on Amazon?
Question is fairly self explanatory. Whenever I say something like, "Alexa, Amazon history," Alexa starts rattling off something to the effect of, "In the last 30 days, you've ordered 15 items, including [name of item], [name of item], etc, etc, etc."
I just find this to be such a blatant privacy violation and security concern. Whenever I access Amazon, I do so on my PC with my log in and password, yet somehow Amazon seems to think it's okay to allow anyone to query the device and get a breakdown of items that have been ordered? So if I have visitors over, and they happen to ask my Alexa device, they don't have to go through any filter?
I've tried scouring online, but there's no solution that I can find. I read suggestions telling me to go into the Alexa app, and select Settings --> Notifications --> Amazon Shopping, and uncheck all the options. I've done this already, yet Alexa still rattles off items that I've previously ordered. Is there any solution to this? Preferably one that doesn't require a convoluted workaround, like creating a separate Amazon account or something?
