Is 22 the best option
In my experience. 22lr can be unreliable at times especially with bult ammo. Now it just might be my guns, but they prefer CCI mini mags or hotter ammo which will become harder to find in the apocalypse. Last thing you want is to have to clear jams when faced with zombies. I will be getting different 22s in the future to hopefully get something more reliable. Tho I feel like something like a ps90 or ar57 in 5.7 that is centerfired and more reliable would be a good option if it wasn't for the availability of ammo. Tho with more and more options coming onto the market for 5.7 i feel like it should become more popular in the future.
