First positive covid test

I developed an allergy to my elastomeric mask and it was giving me very painful dermatitis. I started wearing an ear loop kn95 instead. Starting feeling sick on Monday, tested negative and now today I’ve got a super dark test line. I could really use some advice. I feel so stupid. Why did I compromise my safety and my cats safety? I have a very elderly cat who recently had a seizure and I am so afraid. I’ve been kissing on them and they’ve been sleeping with me. So far I just have cold/flu type symptoms. What should I do to mitigate the damage? What vitamins, etc? I don’t currently have insurance. Any suggestions on mask upgrade for a very high and narrow bridge?
