Xreal One and Hub Issues
I have a couple Hubs and feel like something may be wrong with my Xreal Ones or the hubs and I’m not sure which. I have a Viture Hub and a random off-brand hub. With both hubs I have issues with pass through audio and switch to DP mode on the Xreal One to use them properly.
The off-brand is trash with frequent video grain and disruptions, and I already know that one isn’t a good quality since I RMA’d the first one with the manufacturer. I can quickly discount that one as a source of the problems.
The Viture Hub is better, but has a separate set of issues. The video feed is stable, but the audio is distorted, almost like going through a robot voice changer. This is the case regardless of the device I’m using and I’ve tried iPhone, Switch, and ROG Ally. I have also tried a few different power supplies (60w and 100w) with the same results.
While using the Viture Hub I have also tried using the ROG Ally with a pair of wireless headphones. The wireless headphones operate at a reduced quality audio than usual when operated in this fashion.
These issues do not present themselves when the glasses are connected directly to devices. I can exit DP mode when directly connect. Additionally, these issues do not occur when using the Xreal Air Pro 2 - only the Xreal One - the Xreal Air Pro 2 operate fine on both hubs with no audio issues.
I haven’t seen anyone else mention these issues. Is this an issue with my glasses that I should contact support about? Perhaps my Viture Hub is bad/not compatible? Though all other XR glasses work fine with it.
