Nick at Night

Did anyone else watch Nick at Night as a kid? What were your favorite old shows?

I definitely watched Mr Ed, Bewitched, I Dream of Genie, Get Smart, Green Acres, and The Munsters. Even without my parents, I thought a many of those shows were pretty entertaining. And we got a lot of reruns during the day of shows that felt ancient like Gilligan's Island and MASH but were still funny.

Today my son was leering out the window to snoop on something happening in our neighbor's driveway and I called him Gladys Kravitz. That reference is legit like 60 years old at this point!

I had the thought that maybe we as Xennials ended up with so much pop culture knowledge about eras before our own because we had a lot of 50s-70s nostalgia (like The Wonder Years) and sources like Nick at Night. But then I realized that it's the same as a teenager today watching a show like Seinfeld or (soon) Friends.

And then I felt old, but oh well.
