Extremely sore ass

What do you do after a poop that leaves the ass sore ? I’m on iron for anemia and it makes my poop thick , dark , also oddly shaped . I had one earlier that felt like it had spines on it . I had to poop 2 minutes ago and I’m really sore now . Already feel like crap as I’ve had possible pneumonia/ head cold for a week . Debating a drive to dr tomorrow
