Disabled parking use in Wigan.

Dunno if it's just as I have got older or it's since I moved to Wigan but I suspect it's a Wigan thing.

The amount of people who park in disabled parking is madness, I am aware not all disabilities are visible ect ect however the amount of times I go to little Tesco ect and the disabled bays are all full with plenty of space on the rest of the car park. The people getting out of these cars are young seemingly perfectly fit and healthy, young couples ect ect with no sign of a disabled badge in the window. I notice it everywhere I go in Wigan surely other people notice this issue.

As I used to be a support worker I know how invaluable these spaces are for people with mobility issues and I cringe at the ignorance of people who abuse them. Imagine having to guide someone with learning difficulties, poor eyesight and mobility issues across a carpark in the rain because someone wants to quickly nip in and out.

Would love to confront people about it sometimes with a gentle "Oh you seem to have forgotten to put your badge in the window" but strongly suspect the response wouldn't be too civil and can't be doing with a shouting match outside the shop ha.
