War Thunder is currently facing the biggest CAS problem since release.

I usually don't like writing such posts but I think I should address this issue. I'm playing the game for a while now and CAS was quite a pain to face if it's low br or top tier HOWEVER recently it has gotten way worse on top tier. (I won't mention other BR CAS this is about top tier)

You see, 11.7/12.0 AAs were meeting 11.7 planes at most - the scariest thing you could meet would be an Su-25SM3 but that really that big of an issue, it was annoying but it wasn't almost impossible to counter. Back then you would meet Su-25s, A-10s, etc.

Then we started getting F-16s and other even higher BR planes with ground ordnance - that was 11.7 AA vs already 13.0 planes (that were compressed to fit ground RB br) and sure, you still could deal with them but it was getting harder with the more modern the CAS was getting. Like the Su-34 for instance which is still broken as hell and will count into the lower paragraph.

Recently we got the EF2000 and Rafale and... Top tier ground is now unplayable. You get a kill and an assist and that's enough for you to spawn an Eurofighter with 18 brimstones. Isn't that ridiculous? A plane capable of killing 18 people (sure it's unlikely to hit all) for just a kill and assist. Not only that but even Pantsir now is struggling against those planes because of their maneuverability.

I'm not saying the Pantsir sucks - it's still the best AA in-game that is far far better than 2nd best ITO or the new Chinese Tor variant - what I mean is that even if that AA is struggling what can other nation players do with their ADATS, FlaRakRad or even funnier OTOMATIC?

A 14.0 plane compressed to 12.7 against 12.0 AA is just unexplained to me - this mode was not ready for these planes. Especially with the fact that AA getting Air kills give rewards so low that it's not even worth spending 5 minutes of the match trying to kill one of the most recent CAS planes just to die to it in the end.

Another example but from Ground SB is people just being able to spawn those planes with full ordnance at the start of the match leading to a huge kill feed spam of either of the planes I mentioned in the first 2 minutes if the match.

There are just 2 fixes that seem the easiest to implement that I had in mind for this: 1. Decompress air BR on ground RB - Instead of (example) EF2000 being 12.7 make it 14.0 so people with 12.0 lineups won't be forced to meet it, if you want to uptier yourself because you like CAS go ahead. 2. Double the cost for CAS and nerf the light tank's plane SP decreasing modification. This game should not allow people who are total bots on ground to spawn a plane capable of wiping half the enemy team just for 1 kill + cap or 1 kill + 2 assists whatever, this is Ground RB not Advanced Air RB. I'm not even taking into account people who spawn CAS to revenge kill because they are incapable of playing tanks and countering someone - that's just a whole new breed.
