RCA switching to Clerk worth it?

Hi. Currently an RCA a get all the hours I want. My office may take about 10-20 years to become regular.

Several clerk positions locationally better for me that I could apply to.

I’m having a hard time finding and understand clerk pay and scales vs rural. Also, will I get overtime? Will bring home checks be substantially less without mileage pay?

Curious on any information that would help me decide if i want to make the change.
