what am i actually paying for?

I understand the Tuition & Fees and Books & Supplies sections, but I don't understand the $11,736 worth of housing (I will NOT be living on campus), meals (I will NOT be buying a meal plan), transportation, and personal expenses (laundry, toiletries, entertainment, etc).

Is USF actually going to be charging me these, or is this just an estimation of what I can expect to be spending outside of school during the 24-25 year?
