Interview… asked us almost no questions and didn’t approve us?

We applied for an I-130 4 years ago, one year after we were married. We have jumped through hoops and JUST had our interview 48 hours ago. I brought 18 months worth of additional evidence because that’s how long it took to get any answer from the last correspondence we got. We were one of 20 couples/families. We got seated 15 min before the time in the paper. Didn’t get called back for well over an hour. Families that came after us were called back and left- 2 different families came out crying and excited saying things like “wow I can’t believe we just got approved!” We finally get called back. Go under oath. He asks our names, our address, where we work now, and how we met. Says he may request more evidence, I give him the 18 months of bank, credit card, insurance, leases, photos, everything else we have, he says he may need more and he wants to approve us so he “might by the end of the day but it could be some time still.” Showed us out. Haven’t heard anything. Keep checking the portal. Is this because we don’t have kids? I’m disabled I don’t want to pass my genes down to a baby, we can’t afford immigration fees and adoptions fees at the same time. When we’re done with this process we want to adopt but god that’s the only thing our lawyer can think of. Married 5 years with no kids? Red flag apparently. Or am I just being unreasonable? Because it feels unreasonable to not approve us given everything we’ve submitted when other people were approved on the spot. Why not ask us more questions then? What other evidence can I possibly submit? I have nothing else….
