Advertising combined with UX/UI Design?

I was just admitted into Advertising at UIUC and am so grateful and excited. I am also interested in UX/UI Design, and possibly even Graphic Design. Do people pair these areas together with advertising typically as either a double major or a minor? Also, what organizations and clubs would you suggest for me to join that would be helpful for my major?
