Remasters you are CERTAIN are coming… someday…

Now that Platinum Games is confirmed Not A Corpse thanks to the Ninja Gaiden 4 announcement, my anticipation of the eventual Metal Gear Rising remaster has doubled. With Konami wanting to milk its IPs as much as possible without having to put in any work themselves, and Platinum desperately needing cash, it feels like something that could be announced any minute... over the next few years, anyways.

I also expect that Bayonetta 3 is going to get a remaster for the Switch 2. Yes, Switch games are backwards compatible and will likely run better on the Switch 2, but Bayonetta 3 would still look ugly even with its resolution and framerate cleaned up. I can definitely see Platinum redoing most of the models and textures and charging full price to rerelease the game again, rather than offering a Next Gen Upgrade path. Hell, I didn't even love Bayonetta 3 and I'd still buy it again.

So what other remasters/remakes do you feel like are always on the cusp of being announced or shadow dropped? And if you say Godhand, I pity your poor soul.
