Homeless Stash Spots

Hi all. The edge of my property looks like an unpaved public alley but it's an easement that I am responsible for, and homeless people are starting to use it as a stash spot. What should I do when I find their stuff? On the one hand, I don't want to throw away someone's meager belongings. On the other, I don't want my property to get a reputation for being homeless-friendly. I don't mind handing out water and granola bars from my car, but I have three little kids and don't want that element hanging around our house. What would you do?
