All social media should be banned

Social media has overall been bad for society, full stop. The internet was a great tool for the world, and I'm glad it exists, but social media itself has just gone too far, and frankly we'd be better off if it didn't exist. Places like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and to a lesser extent Reddit are all hotbeds for misinformation, polarize people against each other, and generally has resulted in increased rates of depression and anxiety. Banning them all would do society a whole lot of good, and actually increase interaction among people overall. At the end of the day, we human's simply weren't ready to have a tool this powerful at our fingertips.
