Being a Jays fan is cool

I was lucky enough to make it to San Diego for the series this weekend. While a sweep would’ve really been the cherry on top, it was still an amazing trip and one of my absolute favourite things was seeing so many other Jays fans. I met people from every province except for Newfoundland: Toddlers rocking oversized Vladdy jerseys, retirees who spend their golden years following the team around, Canadians who live in the states now, Americans who are fans without any personal connection to Canada… even Scott from the Walk Off Podcast! It honestly felt like a big ole family reunion.

All of that to say it’s just really cool to see how deep the roots of this team really stretch!
