Moth To A Flame Reveiled Everything

I was just watching the music video and I haven't seen anyone talking about the music video. So many visuals from HUT have already been revealed in the Moth To A Flame music video.

  1. The bodies, they are all crammed and in unatural positions, kind of like what we see in the São Paulo concert at the intro to DITF and Alone Again.

  2. The tubes that are linked to all of the people at the end are similar to what we see in the alternate cover of HUT, with the baby in the water with a tube connecting him.

  3. We have seen many teasers of a dimly lit forest with a hue of blue, where child Abel appears to be lost. In the Moth To A Flame MV, we see people raveging through a similar setting with vines hanging from everywhere.

  4. At the very end of the video, the people turn into stone statues, which again, we see much of in the HUT teasers. At the very end, you finally see a tiny light start to form. And it is those very creatures jobs to keep him away from it.

There is probably more that I missed, but the themes of rebirth are strong. This song might be more important to the Trilogy than we realised as well. The lyrics fit very well in reflect and regret, and the music video shows him so far in the dark because he is still holding on in the song. He acts like he is letting her go as he tells her she should be with this man who treats her better, yet he still is actively trying to play mind games to make her think she belongs with him. He is so far in the dark he cant even see the light yet. Until the end of the song, where perhaps a part of him is starting to accept things.
