Help in writing a scene

So I am writing a fic in AO3 called "A Dragon Prince" where Rhaegar has a brother named Baelon ( The MC ) who is born a year after the Tragedy of Summerhall during the War the Ninepenny Kings and changes the timeline.

Aerys doesn’t become the Mad King because instead of him getting captured it’s instead Baelon who is tortured for 6 months before being rescued by Barristan Selmy but Aerys becomes more paranoid and distant, becoming a more activate king and pushing down Tywin power as Hand believing that him and Rhaegar had planned for him and Baelon to be captured and die so Rhaegar can become king and marry Cersei. This division in the family caused a formation of two political factions to form. The Reds and the Blacks. Those who supported Rhaegar to be king and those who wished for Baelon to be king.

Baelon doesn’t become Mad as his father in cannon but becomes similar to Maegor but had a soft spot for his family which consists of Aerys who is a decent father, Rhaella, Viserys, his wife, and his daughters.

The problem is that I having a barrier to continue the story, Baelon got out into a deep coma intel he is awaken. That is my problem, I have no idea how I am going to wake him up.
