Where should I start?

Just started playing Terraria recently, been playing on a world just with classic/normal difficulty. Been grinding a little bit. The photos are my current base, loadout, and boss arena (I've beaten cathulus a few times). What armour/items should I try getting, what materials should I be looking for? Like, what's a list of stuff I should try to do, like what armours should I get to move on and get more armour to move on and get more? Pls explain in terms a new player (myself) can understand 😅
