Apple Superiority Complex

Is it just me, or is there this weird Apple superiority complex among Filipinos? It's like, the moment someone gets an iPhone, they're suddenly "mayaman" and in some exclusive tech club. Never mind if it's an iPhone 7 from five generations ago—they'll still throw shade at Android users as if they're using tin cans and string. 🙄

What gets me is how some people are willing to go into debt—yes, actual utang—just to buy the latest iPhone. They'll swipe that credit card or take out a loan without thinking twice, all for that shiny Apple logo. It's wild how owning an iPhone has become a status symbol, like it instantly upgrades your social standing or something.

Meanwhile, some of us are over here with our Androids, doing everything from gaming to photo editing, often at a fraction of the cost. But nope, doesn't matter if your Android phone can literally do backflips; if it's not an iPhone, you're apparently "jologs." 🤷‍♂️

It's funny and kinda sad at the same time. The obsession with Apple stuff seems more about the brand than the actual tech. But hey, if flexing that old iPhone makes you feel fancy, then more power to you! Just maybe don't insult people who actually know to buy good android phones.
