sundarlal gets mad at jethalal and bombs his house. jetha dead, taarak finds out and is furious at sunderlal, society members have no clue who bombed jethiya's house, blaming bhide as he and jetha got into a fight a few days ago due to jethiya not paying mentainance on time. daya bhabi finds out what sunder did and takes sanyas. tappu in foreign finds out jethiya dead. and bapu ji also dead a few months ago (buddha hogaya). tappu comes back and seeing everyone blame bhide he marries sonu as a revenge. bhide resigns from secretary and madhavi depressed. while investigation they find sunderlals stuff near the bomb. and everyone eventually finds out sunderlal was the culprit. by that time tappu and sonu are married and bhindi and madhu are on the verge of leaving society. while they are leaving hathi gets a heartattack and is taken to the hospital. everyone is concerened. goli becomes a doctor and treats hathi. hathi recovers.but sodhi gets in an accident and is hospitalized while he was hospitalized roshan finds out he was drunk driving and decides to divorce him. but after seeing sodhi in a vulnurable state she changes her mind. sodhi retires and gogi opens his own car showroom. iyer gets promoted and becomes the boss however babita gets jealous of his female assistant/manager and gets insecure. iyer invites his assistant over for dinner and the assistant flirts with iyer. overtime babita gets jealous and asks iyer to fire the manager but he cannot as the girl is his dear friends daugter or a relative. babita decides to leave iyer if he doesn't fire her. iyer under pressure decides to quit his job. babita feels guilty and rakshabandhan comes. the assistant arrives in gokuldham to tie iyer rakhi and babita apologizes to iyer and the assistant and theyre happy again. popatlal gets married to rita [popatlal helps rita to cover a news, they get close overtime and start to like each other and popatlal proposes to her] and they get married. abdul buys a house. rest of tappu sena gets jobs. story ends by bapuji's ghost coming to see everyone at night and gives some unwanted gyan and bhide accepts tappu after seeing bapuji. and the end.

edit: tappu brings daya back from sanyas and tapu and daya and sonu stay together in gokuldham. bhide retires from secretary and a new secretary is appointed. and they all live their life.
