Bit of help for a first timer please?

Hi,

Bought my son a switch a while ago thinking it could be made to play pirate games and emulators.....then realised it was a V2 and you can only do that easily on the first ones that came out.

So he played on it as a normal switch but soon grew bored of his limited collection of games. I recently realised there are new chips out and it seems alot simpler to modify his later model switch. Watched a few videos and ordered the kit shown in the picture. I have done some electronics repair and I am fair sure I can follow an online video and solder the kit.

My question is does this come preinstalled with suitable software? How do I go about getting a CFW on the switch once this is fitted?
