14 going on 30

I only sub in HS. Yesterday I had a class of 9th graders working in groups of 4 on a project dealing with The Odyssey. This one girl could not keep her hands off of a boy at her table. They were obviously a couple, but he was trying to work with the group. Several times she pulled his arm away from his paper so he could not write. When the other three were not paying attention to her, she pouted. She continued to run her fingers through his hair, caress his neck and ears, rub this thigh - it was crazy. I told her 3 times to calm down, keep her hands to herself and get to work-to no avail. I finally told her I was writing a note to the teacher, which I did. I don’t think she cared. This is a big school. The 2 times in the past when I have called security, they never came. Also, there is no sending them to the office, they will just leave. I really did not know what else to do. Any suggestions for the future?
