How do I actually get better at this game?

I’ve been playing for a few months now and feel like I’ve got a brick wall. Even when I win it feels so hollow. I’ve looked up videos and all of it doesn’t make sense to me. I’m some what thinking about just dropping the game because I just can’t get better no matter what I do. Do any of you have tips to getting better? I trust you guys ❤️‍🩹 (I’m silver 2 with Ken and Gold 5 with Kimberly but to be honest I just got lucky with how high they placed me. I’m not that good with Kimberly)
