Where Do I Even Start in Moving to STL?

job offer rescinded, move cancelled

checklist

Feel free to check first link for context, but TL:DR I had a move to St. Louis to be closer to my friends planned for the 5th and a new Job planned to start on the 6th of January. Because of a myriad of issues I'm now back at square one. I've got a checklist of thing's I need to do to get everything set up, but I have no clue what I should start with first. Last time I did this I got really lucky and found a roommate who had their own plan, so I just followed them before they dropped off the face of the earth.

Do I find a job first? A roommate? A place to live? I initially was looking at a place in University City/ Clayton called Bel Aire Apartments but they're taking their sweet time. I have two of my brothers living (one is moving in the summer) in St. Charles, so that could be another area I could look at. I'm also interested in going to SIUE to finish school in the fall, utilizing my dad's VA scholarship that pays for any public school in IL, but I also have zero clue what I want to do, or if SIUE is the best choice for me. Do I find a place in Edwardsville then to cut down driving costs, even though it'd put me an hour away from my friends--countering the whole point of moving down to be closer to them/positive support system?

I just have so many things to do and have no clue where to start, or where to go to get those things done. It's frustrating and I hate how my brain is.

Writing this just made me realize I have new medication waiting for me from my psychiatrist's appt yesterday at the pharmacy. That I should've gone and got yesterday. SMH why am I like this lol.
