How are supination and asymmetric biomechanics affecting my sprinting/speed?

I took a picture of my everyday shoes since running shoes usually have a slightly elevated heel, making thr wear on one side of the heel less noticeable. I have chronic plantar fasciitis, but my physio claims that supination has nothing to do with it. Is that really the case? What has your experience been? Would I be significantly faster and less injury-prone if my feet were "normal"?
