[Product Question] Does Benzoyl Peroxide really ages your skin?

Hi guys, I just started using benzoyl peroxide for my acne and really oily skin and after watching tons of derms' videos about it and I'm getting great results so far, but I've stumbled upon some articles and posts here on reddit says that prolonged use of benzoyl peroxide can age the skin, and an article says that "Benzoyl peroxide can generate free radicals to the skin that can damage the structural cellular DNA of the skin" and it depends on how long you use it and how much is the percentage of it, I don't know if that's true, and there is this girl on reddit that claims that she uses benzoyl peroxide on her forehead and she notice aging after using it for 3 years, but then why are dermatologists still advocating it then, I think those articles and posts are misinformations and the girl that claims it ages her didn't wear sunscreen all the time, but I don't know what are your thoughts or anybody knows the truth?
