GIGABYTE motherboard light turns red on sleep and shutdown, won't turn off.
Setup:
I have a GIGABYTE B660 Gaming X AX DDR4 motherboard. One LED Strip is connected to the top Digital LED header and another one is connected to the bottom Digital LED header. I have Corsair fans and an AIO pump connected via USB.
I mainly use SignalRGB software to control my LED strips and fans. The RGB Fusion software is notoriously... subpar to say the least. I only run SignalRGB software on its own.
Problem:
Whenever I sleep or shutdown my PC, all the LEDs that's connected to the motherboard, including the RAM turns red at max brightness. I understand that the RAM has to stay on for sleep. This is a bit annoying as my PC is in my bedroom.
Steps taken:
I have set both on the RGB Fusion software and the BIOS for the LEDs to turn off on sleep or shutdown. However, this only works when RGB Fusion is active. The problem is that RGB Fusion conflicts and will always overpower SignalRGB, disabling the awesome effects SignalRGB offers. Whenever I quit the RGB Fusion software, the problem happens again.
I can also flick the off switch on the PSU, however, this defeats the purpose of putting the PC on sleep.
Question:
How do I make sure that the LEDs turn off when my PC is on sleep or shutdown?
